Lobster Academy
Seafood buyers from around the world are invited to join us in a 4-day educational event dedicated to advancing the value of the Homarus americanus. Through a series of lectures, events, interactive presentations, plant tours and chef demonstrations, buyers will learn about harvesting, processing and economics of lobster. Participants will gain a new understanding of the resource and the production environment. By the conclusion of Lobster Academy™, attendees will have mastered enhanced buying techniques around lobster that will assist in building a strategy for these changing economic times.
In addition, Lobster Academy™ students will have the opportunity to learn about salmon through optional Salmon Academy electives.
June's event will be hosted at the new Lobster Academy facilities in St. Andrew's New Brunswick. Attendees will benefit from state-of-the-art classroom facilities conducive to executive style training and interactive demonstrations, featuring a fully-furnished test kitchen and audio-visual conferencing. The new Executive Retreat Centre, located directly on sweeping views of the bay and golf course - provides 20 sleeping units in the Anderson House and common area meeting spaces for various educational functions.
